I’m Sandra. I’m from Browns Valley, MN and the 7th child of 10. Family has always been the core of my existence and I truly believe that anyone that wants to have a family should have the tools, understanding and the ability to do all that they can to make that happen.
I know that there is also a big disconnect in care for women from your OB/GYN clinic to the IVF world and even more once peri-menopause hits. This area is my expertise. I work differently from many other practices as I will not only examine and treat your current symptoms to get to the core of things, but I will encourage you to understand how all those hormones play a role in your overall health and vitality. Working with you as a team to get you feeling your best and to start or grow families and then to help with the aging process in general is my specialty.
Women’s health is Sandra’s expertise from ‘first period to menopause’. Starting and achieving healthy pregnancies is my niche, rest-assured I will do all I can to help build your family.
Acupuncture protocols, herbals, optimal dietary and lifestyle management will all be used. We will discuss current labs and I will advise in conjunction with your OB/GYN/RE. I work with you to achieve a healthy lifestyle to help keep you on track. Getting my patients to live their life to their fullest in my top priority!
My education is a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine thru Pacific College of Health and Sciences, Masters in Oriental Medicine thru the Academy of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Roseville, MN. Board certified thru the MN Medicine Board as a Licensed Acupuncturist. I then went to Yo San in Los Angeles and studied under the esteemed Dr. Dao and physicians from UCLA medical school to gain the knowledge and understanding of Reproductive Medicine and Aging. I also have a Bachelors in Science from the University of Minnesota in Exercise Science. I worked for 7 years in exercise rehab at the Minneapolis Clinic of Neurology prior to my acupuncture career.
I’m the proud mother of Madax, our 6 year old love of our life. My goal is to help each and everyone experience the joy of motherhood and to help them find peace and harmony in all aspects of their lives.
